Trauma- Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as its name implies is is a form of cognitive behavioral therapy that addresses specific emotional and mental health needs of children, adolescents, adult survivors who are struggling to overcome the effects of trauma. The purpose of this type of treatment is to help the individual stabilize, narrate and process their trauma, integration and consolidation.
